SafeCROBOT

VR tools

The overall objective of the SafeCRobot project is to develop an innovative training tool, through the development of multimedia materials based on a guide to good practice in the use of robotic machinery, aimed at training professionals in the construction sector through an integrated approach to train and qualify workers in environmental health and safety.

The SafeCRobot consortium has created a 3D training tool containing 10 3D risk scenarios based on the safe use of robotic machinery in construction, showing the main risks arising from its use and the preventive measures to be taken to contain them.

This 3D training tool is available for free on the platform of this project and can be used as support material for the courses that are being developed to raise awareness and learn about the use of robots in the construction sector. These 3D animations will be designed and produced from all the information previously developed in the project to support the delivery of SafeCRobot training courses and open access training content.

The training tool can be downloaded here to be used with VR glasses.

For more information on using the required hardware, see the SafeCRobot 3D animations production documents here.

If you want to see more visual information about the tool, you can watch videos with the examples developed in the 10 scenarios of the project, the access area to the scenarios and a promotional video of the SafeCRobot project in the following playlist: here.
